Hey guys!
I have decided to do a quick post to show you some of my favourite things I got for Christmas this year! I’m not going to show everything that I got, mainly the little beauty/book related bits and pieces! I hope you enjoy this week’s post!
I got some new Zoella Beauty products, which I am quickly growing to love! I got a trio of mini Fizz Bars, Foam Sweet Foam shower gel, Wonder Hand hand cream and the pink makeup bag with her guinea pig on it!(I think it’s Percy, but correct me if I’m wrong!) I will definitely update you on my thoughts of these products after using them some more!
I also got two Essence The Gel Nail Polishes in ’24 Indian Summer’(the peach colour) and in ’52 Amazed By You’(the purple-berry shade) as well as a red PS Lip Liner Pencil which is the Penneys/Primark brand!
This Digital Straightening HairBrush has certainly intrigued me for a while! Not sure what to expect, but I’ll keep you posted!
Being the absolute candle hoarder that I am, I guess it was only fitting to give me this adorable 6 pack of votive candles in the Yankee Candles Christmas scents! These smell amazing!
Continuing with the theme of candles, my family gave me a set of cute vanilla scented(one of my favourites!) tea light candles and an interesting looking DIY gel candle set! They are also very aware of my love of all things crafty!!!
Which is probably why I also received this gorgeous scrapbook along with a cute biro and some puzzle ball pens, which will no doubt keep me occupied for hours!!!
From my aunt/godmother, who shares my love of Harry Potter and is probably the reason I love reading as much as I do, I got this stunning Harry Potter colouring book, along with Staedtler colouring pencils! I am seriously loving this new colouring trend(despite the fact that I have been doing it for years before this, trend or not!)
Lastly, I was given this book from the same aunt! ‘Asking For It’ by Louise O’Neill, a wonderful Irish author, has been named Irish Book of the Year 2015. It is well written, and a really eye opening read. I would not recommend this book to younger readers as it is quite dark with mature themes and explicit scenes, but as always, I will link the GoodReads page here in case you’re interested.
That’s all for this week’s post! I hope you have enjoyed! I am in NO WAY bragging about what I got, I just thought it might be interesting to show you some of the things I got for Christmas! Thanks for reading! See you next week!
Aisling xx
